I've got a bad cold and I'm not sure if this has anything to do with me seeing faces in the stone walls of my house, but it's starting to get a bit freaky. Whatever's happening in my feverish mind though this new Weezer collaboration with Lil Wayne has certainly brightened my night. Aceness

Felix Cartal

The first time I heard of Felix Cartal was when Erol Alkan dropped 'Moss vs Tree' during one of his sets a few years back. To say it blew my head off would be an understatement. It has such a driving beat, it feels like you're strapped to the front of a high speed train, flashing through unmarked stations on the way to fuck knows where.

He released his Skeleton EP earlier this year and he's got an album coming out soon. The first track off that album is 'Drone' and you can hear it just here. It's released on September 3rd

Also here's 'Moss Vs Tree'. If you haven't heard it before, strap yourself well in.

This is MASSIVE

New Sounds and The Return of De La Soul

De La Soul are back with their first new album in five years. Released on Nike's label SportMusic, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of 3ft High and Rising (fuck, 20 years!).

'Big Mouf'

Also hot off the press is a new Sounds tune that doesn't make me want to have several teeth extracted. Less saccharine than previous efforts then? Oh Yes

'Dorchester Hotel'
